The name for the Cottage was taken from Nowhere Else Creek. The creek
originates at Delamere and our property includes the headlands of the creek. A
Kilometre away down stream there is a spring where litres of water gush to the
surface and flow into Nowhere Else creek which then continues to Rapid Bay
meeting the Yattagolinga and flows out to sea.
The previous owners bought this property in 1981 and milked cows in the
old dairy till 1988. The building was left derelict till they decided to
diversify into the tourism business and after extensive renovations of the
original stone dairy the Nowhere Else cottage was born and opened in november
Nowhere Else Cottage
is self-contained with
one bedroom with a queen bed and heritage style bathroom with a claw-foot bath.
You can relax and unwind in our cosy romantic cottage and indulge yourself in
your own private indoor spa pool overlooking our small vineyard.
Or just take in the countryside from the cottage verandah. A haven of peace,
comfort and privacy. Exclusively yours.
